自傳
Kai-Tai Song is a professor of Institute of Electrical and Control Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYTU), Taiwan. He received his B.S. degree in power mechanical engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan in 1979 and Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium in 1989. He served as the Director of Institute of Electrical and Control Engineering and the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and the Associate Dean of the Office of Research & Development at NCTU. and the President of Chinese Automatic Control Society (CACS) in Taiwan and VP for Publication of Asian Control Association (ACA). He coached the NCTU Robotics team and won the First Place of University Challenge at World Robot Olympiad Qatar2015 and Second Place of Advanced Robotic Challenge at India2016. He received the Distinguished Automatic Control Engineering Award of CACS and is a Fellow of CACS. His research interests include motion planning of collaborative robots, mobile robot navigation, robotic vision, visual tracking and mobile manipulation.
